Print CreditsWhen you started at the College all students were allocated 50 print credits. These can be topped up at the Library desk when you need them. Simply fill in one of the payment envelopes, place $5 inside and present to one of the Library staff. They will be topped up for you as soon as possible.

Hint 1: To prevent losing your USB it is suggested you "name" it with your name or save a document on it titled If Found Please Open with your contact details in it.
Hint 2: Be sure to put your name on each page you are printing so you get the printing you pay for.
Hint 3: To print at school, documents need to be saved in PDF or Word document format.
Hint 4: The printers can only print A4 or A3 so check that the page size is not set to letter before you print.
Printing In the Library
1. If you are printing in the Library from a computer, you will need to be logged in under your own profile. This is so the computer can deduct from the 50 print credits you are given when you start at the college. If you are logged in as 'student' or 'guest' you won't be able to print.
2. If you don't have enough print credits, printing just won't happen and it won't tell you why. You will find out when you go to the Moodle Print Manager how many credits you have left.
3. After you have gone to the Print menu on the computer and selected the appropriate printer for your job, log into Moodle, go to CCC Print Manager and check the box next to your print job. Then click on print. This will release your job to the printer. Any problems, come and see Library staff.
4. All computers can send colour printing to the printer.
Select 'Main Library Colour' as the printer.
5. If the printer runs out of paper or misfeeds, or doesn't work for any other reason, please ask the Library staff for help - don't try to fix it yourself.
6. Photocopying is when you have a sheet or a page of which you want an exact copy. For this you use your Student ID/Library card. First feed your card with some money in the machine to the right of the printer. Then, insert the card in the photocopier and position the material to be copied in the top left hand corner of the glass. Make sure the copier shows 1 copy and black and white (if that's what you want). Prices are the same as printing.
7. If there are problems with the printer/copier in the Library you can use the printer called 'Library Level 1' which is in the far corner of N12 .
8. Don't forget to save and backup your work at home.
